Dear Customers,

with the end of the calendar year approaching, we would like to inform you in advance about the operation of GLS Slovakia during the Christmas holidays and the end of 2023.

The transported quantities in the last week before Christmas are enormously exceeding the standard volume of transported parcels and therefore during this period there are operational and systemic interventions in the delivery so that all Christmas packages will be delivered no later than 22 December 2023.

Therefore, we kindly ask you to submit all your domestic parcels for transportation by 19 December 2023, as this date is also the last date for submission of parcels, when we guarantee delivery of the parcels until 24 December 2023.

In the case of export parcels, this date is delayed by the standard transit times between countries.

Subsequently:

- parcels collected on 22 December 2023 will be delivered within Slovakia on 27 December 2023 and in other countries within standard delivery times.

- in the period from 25 December - 26 December 2023 all GLS Slovakia depots will be closed and no parcel pick-up/delivery will be carried out.

- In the period from 27 December - 29 December, parcel delivery and pick-up will be carried out in the standard mode.

- Parcels collected on 29 December 2023 will be delivered within Slovakia on 2 January 2024 and in other countries within standard delivery times.

Christmas full of miracles and gifts will be delivered by GLS Slovakia couriers again this year.

2022 Claims Report

GLS General Logistics Systems Slovakia s.r.o. this way in accordance with § 28 par. 6 of Act no. 324/2011 Coll. on postal services publishes a report on submitted complaints, their content and method of processing in 2022.

GLS General Logistics Systems Slovakia s.r.o. even in 2022, despite the enormous increase in the number of transported packages, focused on maintaining and constantly improving the quality of its services. Thanks to the ongoing modernization and expansion of technologies for the processing and sorting of packages, the expansion of the GLS SK depot network in Slovakia and their constant and regular control, we managed to maintain a slightly improved result - the number of 0.099 recognized complaints per 10,000 transported parcels.

GLS General Logistics Systems Slovakia s.r.o. also in 2021, despite the enormous increase in the number of transported parcels, focused on maintaining and constantly improving its services. Thanks to the ongoing modernization and expansion of technologies for processing and sorting, expansion of the GLS SK depots network in Slovakia and their constant and regular control, we managed to maintain a stable parcel of 0.104 recognized claims per 10,000 parcels transported.

Therefore, we would like to specify that you hand over all your parcels for transport by 17 December 2021, as this date is also the date of the last delivery of parcels, when we guarantee delivery of parcels by 24 December 2021.

In the case of export parcels, this date is postponed by the standard transit times between the countries.

As follow:

• Parcels selected on 23 December 2021 will be delivered within Slovakia on 27 December 2021 and in other countries within standard delivery times.
• in the period from 24 December 2021 to 26 December 2021, all GLS Slovakia depots will be closed and no pick-up / delivery of parcels will take place.
• in the period from 27 December 2021 to 30 December 2021, the delivery and collection of parcels will take place in the standard mode.
• 31 December 2021 all GLS Slovakia operations are closed.

- Parcels picked up on December 30, 2021 will be delivered within Slovakia on January 3, 2022 and in other countries within standard delivery times.

Also in the past year 2020, the company GLS General Logistics Systems Slovakia s.r.o. focused on the continuous improvement of our services and one of the most important points of our work was to increase safety in the preparation of every single parcel. Thanks to the expansion of camera systems, modernization and addition of technologies for processing and testing parcels, GPS monitoring of delivery vehicles and constant and regular inspection of delivery parts, we managed to ensure a stable number of 0,88 recognized claims per 10,000 transported parcels.

- 31.12.2020 all GLS Slovakia operations are closed.

- Parcels picked up on December 30, 2020 will be delivered within Slovakia on January 4, 2021 and in other countries within standard delivery times.
