History
Once upon a time, in 1989, 25 brave forwarders had a daring idea: build a national parcel service provider in the new centre of Germany. German Parcel was born, supposed to become the later basis of the unprecedented story of the GLS Group.

From the depots, parcels are distributed to the recipients. In Spain and Portugal, agencies combine various functions for parcel dispatch.
